Pali is the original medium of expression for Buddhism. In the 6th century BCE, Gautama Buddha used Pali to convey his teachings to the common people, and the Tripitaka, the fundamental Buddhist scripture, is preserved in this language. The characteristics of the Pali language, its literary form, and its role in the development and spread of Buddhism have been significant since ancient times. Pali is not only a religious language but also a valuable repository of ancient Indian history, culture, and philosophy. It is an important source for understanding our history. This research paper will enrich the Indian intellectual tradition and provide a significant academic contribution to the fields of Buddhist studies, history, philosophy, and cultural research.
